                Khun Somchai Ungpitakpan
is the guardian of Arnold , one year and two month old male
German Shepherd.  Arnold won second place guard dog , Sch H
I (B) , it scored 90/100 in SJ/K9 guard dog competition for the
10/2000 semester on September 3, 1999. Major Paiboon Yamussatien

"Arnold is one clever dog.  Everyone in my family
loves him very much.  I used to try training him myself by
referring to books. but he could only learned the basic
training.  So I thought I should leave the dog training job
to professional dog training school.  I inquired my friends
and those I know a bout where to send my dog for training."

"I read many pet magazines and talked to various
dog-training facilities.  They seem to have different
methodologies and training principles.  Some only focus on
training for purpose of competition which are only good for just
dogs breeders and those selling puppies.  I keep my German
Shepherd to be a guard dog, with a hope that one day he will be
able to protect me and my family.  What i am afraid of the
most about dogs training is that the training where you reward
dogs with food.  Scores of my friends' dogs were poisoned
and died.  I like the way K9 Pattaya trains dogs where
they really understand how to train them.  They let the
dogs play and be happy ; and in my opinion I think that's the
                best way to do it."

"Arnold's training at K9 Pattaya was of gradual
positive progress since his first assessment. ( Semester 9/2000,
                July 2, 1999. Assessed by Archarn Joe O.G.V.; the Bgh 1 course ;
the score of 94/100 ) Had i not learned about his progress, I
would have stopped sending him for training since it cost me
some amount of money.  When I learned that the training
works,  I just kept on having him trained until he
completed the training course.  Each time he returned for
home visits, he demonstrated a gradual increased in
intelligence.  He would not leave my side, guarding me
recently.  There was a guy in camouflage outfit who came
into the house, he ran and barked at the man furiously, ready to
charge if the man did not recede.  I can say that I have
visited many people who have big dogs, but they have no control
of their dogs at all.  Once the gate is opened, their dogs
will just run out.  Arnold would never do that!  I use
an automatic gate at home.  Arnold will stand guard inside
while the gate is being opened.  He will be there until the
gate is closed.  Never once did he run off unless I call
for him.  He seems to discipline other dogs in my house
too.  I don't know what language they may use to
communicate among one another for this to happen.  The
trainers here are really attentive to my dog.  My overseas
business trips always keep me busy.  Trainer Ake often
called and reminded me. "You should come and visit Arnold"

"I don't feel my money has gone in vain with Arnold's
training.  On the other hand,  I am very proud to say
that "For a guard dog, K9 Pattaya is the best for it"  It
comes as a delight  to my family,  for a clever and
well trained dog always has something new to show us , not just
another feeding session every time we visit.  If I am to
have another dog, I will definitely send it to K9
Pattaya.  I don't like experimenting, I am satisfied
                with what I have here."
